Highlights from the July #VetsJobsChat: Resources for Veterans with Disabilities

On July 10, 2013, the Labor Department hosted its third #VetsJobsChat on Twitter, this time focusing on employment resources for veterans with disabilities.¬†Acting Labor Secretary Seth Harris, representatives from the Labor Department’s Veterans’ Employment & Training Service and its Office of Disability Employment Policy, a number of veterans service organizations, other government agencies and employers answered questions and shared resources. Thank you all so much for the #vetsjobschat, it was very informative and helpful for both disabled veterans and the organizations working to serve them. I’m particularly found of the photo featuring Deputy Director O’Keefe of the Military Officers Association of America – He’s answering my tweet! Thanks for all that you do.
